Girls Make Beats (GMB) is a 501 (c)(3) nonprofit organization that empowers girls by expanding the female presence of music producers, DJs, and audio engineers. GMB was founded in 2012 by certified audio engineer, Tiffany Miranda.
GMB works with girls ages 5-17 and hosts educational seminars, summer camps, industry panels and networking events. GMB helps girls further their careers as music producers, DJs, and audio engineers by providing courses on industry leading hardware and software. GMB also serves as an outlet for girls to unite and collaborate within the music industry.

GMB launches online tv show with guest star

GMBTV show - A show for girls, by girls, launches with guest star Janelle Monáe. The inspiring artist/actress will be doing a live Q&A session with our girls. GMBTV will be held on Zoom and streamed Live on Facebook.
GMB PRODUCES REMIX FOR
JANET JACKSON
Our girls had the opportunity to create an original remix for Janet Jackson's latest single "Made For Now" feat. Daddy Yankee. The remix is available on her vinyl release.
The girls got the chance to go backstage after a Miami concert and meet the icon.
GMB PRODUCES music for forD & meet angela bassett
During the latest campaign of Ford's #BuiltPhenomenally, our girls had the opportunity to go behind the scenes of the commercial and sit in on the VO session with Angela Bassett. They played their original music for her in the studio which received placement in the content piece.
GMB PARTNERS WITH SPOTIFY TO lessen the gender gap
In support of our mission, Spotify highlighted the stories of Girls Make Beats and how Miami influences culture and music. Spotify supports scholarships for girls in the program.
