Empowering the Next Generation: Girls Make Beats Hosts Studio Mentoring Session with MusiCares & Recording Academy Atlanta Chapter
The Girls Make Beats Studio Mentoring Session at 800EastStudios in ATL was a dynamic day of exploration, empowerment, and artistic growth. In partnership with MusiCares and the Recording Academy Atlanta Chapter, the event invited young girls into the heart of a professional studio environment for a one-of-a-kind educational experience.
Participants took part in immersive, hands-on sessions, explored the ins and outs of studio life, and connected with music industry professionals who offered real insight into what it takes to succeed behind the boards and beyond the mic.
Parents spoke about seeing their daughters more inspired and self-assured after joining GMB, while mentors described the joy of watching young creatives discover their voice- reasons why creating more spaces where girls can lead, create, and thrive is extremely important.
Events like this show the true power of mentorship — not just passing on knowledge, but igniting passion.
A heartfelt acknowledgment to MusiCares, the Recording Academy, and 800 East Studios for championing the next wave of women in music and helping us continue to shape the future, one session at a time.
