We are excited to announce that music from Girls Make Beats is featured in the new Coming 2 America film released on Amazon on March 5th, 2021.
The opportunity came about while working on the Girls Make Beats compilation album entitled "She is Queen" which is a medley of songs highlighting women in various cultures composed and performed by the women and girls of GMB. The funk influenced song "Queendom" produced by our founder, Tiffany Miranda and featuring MEANGIRL received a placement in the major film.
The sequel starring Eddie Murphy, Arsenio Hall, Tracy Morgan, Jermaine Fowler, Teyana Taylor and more is about the African monarch Akeem as he learns he has a long-lost son in the United States and must return to America to meet this unexpected heir and build a relationship with his son.
